The schedule for the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been finalized and is expected to be announced on Friday.
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will hold final consultations with PSL franchisers tomorrow.
Sources said that the opening ceremony of PSL 8 will be held in Multan as per the schedule so far.

It should be noted that earlier there were reports that the opening ceremony of PSL 8 is likely to be shifted from Multan to Karachi.
Sources say that the matches of the tournament will be played at 4 venues, the event will start from February 13 while the final will be played on March 19.

Sources said that PSL 8 matches will be held in Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi and Karachi.
Sources also said that Multan and Karachi will be held simultaneously while Lahore and Rawalpindi will be held.
Sources said that the strategy of holding PSL exhibition matches in Quetta is being considered. The exhibition match will be between the teams of Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.
