Advisor to Chief Minister of Sindh Sports Arbab Lutfullah says that Lahore Qalandar coming to hockey after cricket is welcome, Sindh government will always look two steps ahead in the promotion of national sports.
Atif Rana, CEO of Lahore Qalandar met Sindh Chief Minister Khel Arbab Lutfullah at his residence.
On this occasion, PHF secretary Haider Hussain, former captain Olympian Hanif Khan was also present.

Atif Rana presented the plan of the Karachi-Lahore Hockey League, which was highly appreciated by the sports adviser to the Chief Minister of Sindh.
Atif Rana said that all the players of the country will participate in the Lahore Karachi Hockey League for which open trials will be conducted, the brand ambassador of the Karachi team will be Shaheen Shah Afridi and the brand ambassador of the Lahore team will be Haris Rauf.
Atif Rana expressed his intention to build a high performance center in Karachi like Lahore. He said that for two years we have been trying to have a hockey league like the cricket league. Now he himself has become the Secretary of the Hockey Federation, so there is more hope that this plan will be implemented this time.
Sindh Sports Adviser Arbab Lutfullah assured Atif Rana of full cooperation in the hockey league and said that if the Punjab government or any sponsor does not come forward, the Sindh government alone will support the project.
Arbab Lutfullah also expressed his happiness for building a high performance center in Karachi and assured full cooperation. He said that the hockey league will get new talent for hockey.
PHF Secretary Haider Hussain said that the Sindh government is the only province that always gives a big grant for the national sport, if the Sindh government does not cooperate, the Hockey Federation and the players would have been in a worse situation.
He said that Lahore Karachi Hockey League will prove to be the first drop of rain which will bring back the golden era of hockey. Hanif Khan also appreciated the efforts of Lahore Qalandar and Arbab Lotfullah.
At the end, Lahore Qalandar CEO Atif Rana presented Arbab Lotfullah with a beautiful shield and a Lahore Qalandar shirt.
Sports advisor to Chief Minister Sindh also presented a gift of beautiful sheets to the guests.
