South Africa’s star cricketer Hashim Amla, who said goodbye to international cricket 3years ago, has now announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
Hashim Amla was playing for English county Surrey, but has now confirmed to the county that he is unavailable for the team.
Hashim Amla said, “I have happy memories at the Oval, saying goodbye to him as a player makes me even more grateful.”
“I thank Alec Stewart, the Surrey staff and players for their support,” he said.

39-year-old Hashim Amla represented South Africa in 124 Test matches, in which he scored 9,082 runs at an average of 46.64, including 28 centuries.
He is South Africa’s highest run-scorer in this format after Jacques Kallis.
Hashim Amla’s highest score in Test cricket is 311 not out which he scored against England at the Oval in 2012 and this is also his highest score in first class cricket.
He is also the first South African batsman to score a triple century.
It should be noted that Hashim Amla announced his retirement from international cricket three years ago.
